Standard Steel Finish Options

Natural Black – Clean, contemporary black with minimal sheen. Our most requested finish for modern interiors.
Satin Black – Slightly softer than matte with a subtle warmth suitable for transitional spaces.
Gold Tone – Deep brown-black with bronze highlights revealed at edges and high points. A classic for traditional interiors.
Antique Bronze – Deep brown with bronze highlights revealed at edges and high points for a classic look.
Natural Iron – Minimal treatment allowing the raw character of forged steel to show through.
Chemical Patina – Controlled oxidation creating authentic rust appearance with protective topcoat. Popular for rustic and industrial aesthetics.
Painted Colors –  Over 50 custom hand painted finishes and custom color matching to coordinate with architectural elements or designer specifications.

Forged vs. Machined Textures

Hand – forged steel retains hammer marks, fire scale, and surface irregularities that become visual features under our finish treatments. These textures create depth and interest that smooth machined surfaces cannot replicate.

For contemporary applications requiring clean profiles, we offer machined steel with smooth surfaces that accept finishes uniformly.

Durability Considerations

All steel finishes include appropriate primers and topcoats for interior residential applications.
